Here's the Fun!

Friday, Oct. 16 - 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 17 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We're talking about fun no matter how you look at it.

On Friday, things kick off at 4 p.m. - great BBQ, great shopping and great cars will abound. Join us with The Chill, playing on stage 6-9 p.m. This favorite band plays Classic Rock and Roll, Motown and Variety Dance music. We're talking about some fun personalities added on top of an exciting blend of horns, guitars, percussion and vocal harmony. Check'em out at www.chillband.com, but then really check'em out at Grillin' for Life and the Scarecrow Car Show. Thanks to the Fine Arts Institute of Mississippi for sponsoring this entertainment.

The BBQ teams fire up their grills on Friday night, too, because if you want good BBQ on Saturday, it's gotta start Friday.

On Saturday, Memory Lane performs 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., while indoors there's a Magic Show beginning at noon.

Really, your choices are simple - show up anytime you can on Friday or Saturday, or come to stay the whole time.

Wanna BBQ?

Join with friends and set up your own BBQ team to be a part of the cook-off. It's a chance to win bragging rights, trophies and cash, too. Go to the forms page, get your entry together and send it in.

Attend the event because eating BBQ is great. And check out all the classic cruisers that sign up for the Scarecrow Car Show. This usually brings out hundreds of cars from all eras. Antique, classic and the latest models will be on display. Buy awesome, unique gifts from the many vendors on site. Enjoy live music.

Remember, it's Grillin' for Life at the Madison Cultural Center, Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2009.
